A. Nicole Friant is Duane Morris' Pro Bono Counsel, supervising and overseeing all pro bono matters being handled by the firm. Ms. Friant works with referral agencies and legal services organizations to acquire new cases, increase involvement by firm personnel and provide training for new attorneys and summer associates. Ms. Friant also handles pro bono cases herself.
A former associate in Duane Morris' Environmental Law Practice Group, Ms. Friant returned to the firm in 2005 after having served as an environmental consultant at Green Restaurant Association, a public interest organization. She served on the firm's Pro Bono Task Force and Committee from 2003 to 2005, and was chair of the Duane Morris Support Center for Child Advocates Practice Group, as well as a volunteer attorney for the Center.
Admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, she is a member of the American, Pennsylvania and Philadelphia bar associations.
A former judicial clerk to the Honorable L. Anthony Gibson, former presiding judge of the Chancery Division for the Superior Court of New Jersey, Atlantic County, Ms. Friant is a 1998 graduate of Rutgers School of Law - Camden and a graduate of Rutgers University.
