Belenette A. Belen practices in the areas of technology and intellectual property law, insurance coverage and employment law. Ms. Belen is also active in pro bono matters.
Ms. Belen served as a deputy public defender with the Fresno County Public Defender's Office and has tried many cases before Administrative Law Judges.
While at the University of San Francisco, School of Law, Ms. Belen taught high school seniors criminal law, constitutional law, landlord-tenant law and family law through the Street Law program. As an undergraduate at the University of California, Berkeley, she was an Alumni Scholar and received awards for academic and community service achievement.
Ms. Belen is a member of the Bar Association of San Francisco, Asian American Bar Association, American Bar Association, Women in Workers' Compensation, and Minority Corporate Counsel Association. She is a 1994 graduate of the University of San Francisco School of Law and a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley.
