Celeste M. Wasielewski practices in the areas of labor and employment law with a focus on labor relations under the Railway Labor Act and the National Labor Relations Act. She has significant experience in unfair labor practice cases, collective bargaining negotiations, union organizing and decertification drives, strikes, representation cases, and arbitration hearings.
In employment matters, Ms. Wasielewski has extensive experience in race, age, sex, disability and national origin discrimination cases under federal and state law. She also represents clients in whistleblowing suits, including actions brought under AIR21 and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, wrongful discharge cases as well as sexual harassment training and cases. Her litigation experience includes matters before federal and state courts, arbitrators, the National Labor Relations Board, National Mediation Board, Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission, U.S. Department of Labor and Federal Labor Relations Authority.
Ms. Wasielewski is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and Illinois and is a member of the American, District of Columbia and Illinois bar associations. She is a 1988 graduate of George Washington University Law School and a graduate of the University of Michigan.

Representative Matters
- Obtained a ruling that the National Labor Relations Board does not have the power under the National Labor Relations Act to assess a respondent with litigation costs, including attorneys fees. See, Unbelievable, Inc. v. National Labor Relations Board, 326 U.S. App. D.C. 194 (D.C. Cir. 1997)
- Obtained a ruling that fractional ownership aircraft management companies are exempt from the payment of overtime compensation under the Fair Labor Standards Act. See, Thibodeaux v. Executive Jet International, Inc., 328 F.3d 742 (5th Cir. 2003)
- Obtained a ruling that plaintiffs are not entitled to jury trials in whistleblowing actions brought under Ohio statutory law (unpublished opinion).
