Charles B. Shields practices in the areas of estate, income tax, asset planning, charitable planning and business succession planning for high net worth families. He also has extensive experience counseling non-traditional and LGBT families on federal tax and state law issues unique to such families. In addition to advising families on estate planning strategies designed to minimize taxes and protect wealth for future generations, Mr. Shields also advises individuals, closely held companies and public corporations on federal, state and local tax issues as well as non-tax issues, from the formation to the ultimate disposition of the business.

Mr. Shields is a graduate of the University of Florida College of Law (LL.M., Taxation, with honors, 2000; J.D., with honors, 1999) and a graduate of the University of Florida.
