Cynthia A. Baldwin practices in the area of litigation with a focus on appellate litigation and nonprofit governance. Prior to joining Duane Morris, Ms. Baldwin served as a justice of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court for two years and a judge of the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas for 16 years. Ms. Baldwin's distinguished public service has encompassed chairing The Pennsylvania State University's board of directors, serving as Attorney-in-Charge and Deputy Attorney General, Western Regional Office, Consumer Protection Division, for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and teaching at Duquesne University and Widener University law schools. She also is trustee emerita of the Duquesne University board of directors and vice chair of the Association of Governing Boards of Colleges and Universities board of directors. She has lectured and taught extensively in the U.S. and internationally.
Ms. Baldwin is a 1980 graduate of Duquesne University School of Law, where she was a member of the Law Review, and a graduate of Pennsylvania State University (M.A., B.A.).
