Darin J. Steinberg practices in the area of real estate law with a focus on zoning, land development, condominiums and planned communities. Mr. Steinberg frequently represents developers before the zoning board of adjustment in Philadelphia. He has also worked on several land use and zoning matters in Montgomery County and Bucks County, appearing before governing bodies, planning commissions and zoning boards.
Mr. Steinberg is a member of the board of directors of the Building Industry Association of Philadelphia and has worked closely with that organization on zoning reform in Philadelphia, including the drafting of several permit guides issued by the City to assist developers in the zoning/land development process. He is also an active member of the Urban Land Institute, its public policy committee and technical assistance program (TAP), the task of which is to study land development issues in Philadelphia and the surrounding suburbs.
Mr. Steinberg was the zoning attorney for the ULI TAP that focused on Upper Dublin's Dresher Triangle as a development opportunity. He also serves on a focus group for the Department of Licenses and Inspections to assist in its evaluation and analysis of licensing and permitting services.
Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, Mr. Steinberg is a cum laude graduate of Temple University School of Law and a graduate of Trinity College.
