Demetrios C. ("Jim") Batsides is a trial attorney with a practice focusing on the defense of healthcare, professional and products liability, catastrophic injury and mass tort litigation claims. He has successfully tried and litigated such matters in various jurisdictions in both state and federal courts. Mr. Batsides serves as regional counsel for a major national clinical laboratory and is a member of its national Pap smear and HPV testing litigation team. He has broad-based experience in complex legal and causation issues relating to a wide array of medical disciplines. He also routinely counsels healthcare clients on risk management and regulatory issues.

Mr. Batsides is an active member of numerous local and national legal professional organizations, including the Defense Research Institute and the Trial Attorneys of New Jersey, for which he currently serves as Secretary/Treasurer and Trustee.

Mr. Batsides is a graduate of Rutgers University School of Law and Villanova University.
