Douglas J. Antonio practices in the areas of taxation, real estate, affordable housing and community development, and partnership and syndication law.
Mr. Antonio has extensive experience with FHA and HUD matters. He also represents major tax credit syndicators. He is past chair of the Federal Taxation Committee of the Chicago Bar Association, as well as a member of its executive committee. Mr. Antonio is a member of the Section of Taxation of the American Bar Association. In addition, he is a director of the Real Estate Investment Association.
Mr. Antonio has served as an adjunct professor of law at The John Marshall School of Law. He is admitted to practice in Illinois, the District of Columbia, Maryland and Missouri. Mr. Antonio is a 1983 graduate of Georgetown University Law Center (LL.M., taxation), a 1980 graduate of the University of Maryland School of Law and a graduate of the University of Maryland, where he earned an M.B.A., a B.S. in mathematics and a B.A. (with high honors) in economics.
