E.J. Kim is a trial lawyer practicing in the area of civil litigation, with a broad range of experience including insurance coverage litigation, class actions, malpractice litigation and general commercial litigation. Ms. Kim also advises insurers on commercial general liability, excess/umbrella liability, and professional liability policies. Ms. Kim has extensive experience defending insurers in breach of contract and bad faith litigation, including complex litigation. Ms. Kim's class action experience includes defending clients facing multiple class actions across the country in both state and federal courts and handling complicated issues on e-discovery.
Ms. Kim is a 2006 graduate of the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, where she was the recipient of the Wayne O. Veatch, Justice Raymond L. Sullivan, and Percy E. Towne scholarships as well as an executive editor of the Hastings Communications and Entertainment Law Journal, and a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley.
