Cheng Hsiang (Eric) Chu consults in the area of intellectual property with an international focus. Mr. Chu has consulted with companies in a variety of industries in Asia and globally with regard to patent licensing, patent infringement actions and IP clearance matters.

Mr. Chu holds an LL.M.in Intellectual Property Law from George Washington University Law School in Washington D.C. He also holds an LL.M. from Soochow University in Taipei, Taiwan, and a B.A. from Tunghai University in Taichung, Taiwan. He is a native Mandarin speaker.

While attending George Washington University Law School, Mr. Chu was active as a member of the Giles S. Rich American Inn of Court in Washington D.C., which focuses on intellectual property law practice and memorializes the contributions of the late Judge Giles Sutherland Rich of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
