Gary R. Maze practices in the area of intellectual property law and litigation. He has litigated patent and trademark cases and has handled the prosecution of patents and copyrights in the mechanical, electro-mechanical, software, Internet and business methods arts in the United States as well as foreign patent prosecutions and applications under the Patent Cooperation Treaty.
Prior to practicing law, Mr. Maze worked for more than 20 years in the computer industry at all levels, including engineering, data communications, operating system and database application, software design and coding, marketing and sales. Registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, he is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
Mr. Maze is a 1994 graduate of the South Texas College of Law and a graduate of Southern Methodist University.
