Gregory M. Luck, P.C. practices in the area of intellectual property litigation and licensing. Mr. Luck represents clients in patent, trademark and copyright litigation in various district and appellate courts throughout the U.S. He has represented clients in litigation involving optical disc drives, industrial lasers, holographic imaging technology, coin discrimination systems, rotating memories, metering pumps and telecommunication systems. He has handled appeals before the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court.
A registered patent attorney, Mr. Luck is admitted to practice in Texas and California. He is a 1986 cum laude graduate of South Texas College of Law and a graduate of Texas A&M University.

Representative Matters
- Tried cases for infringement of patents for coin discrimination technology, obtaining favorable judgments, a finding of willful infringement, and a finding that one case was "exceptional."
- Defended a major manufacturer of industrial lasers against a claim of patent infringement, resulting in a favorable settlement.
- Defended a major telecommunications company against a multimillion-dollar claim of patent infringement; the asserted patent was held invalid, unenforceable and not infringed.
- Successfully defended a patent infringement action brought against a Taiwanese manufacturer of circuit board architecture.
- Represented multiple clients in patent infringement litigation for patents directed to holographic imaging technology.
- Initiated a case in Eastern District of Texas against major cable and satellite TV providers for infringement of a patent directed to DVR technology. This case resulted in a multimillion-dollar settlement for the client.
- Engaged in a multi-year policing action for infringement of monoxodil patent throughout the U.S.
- Successfully represented a client in multiple infringement actions to enforce patents on DVD drive technology
- Successfully prosecuted patent litigation involving the in situ replacement of valve bodies in high pressure flow lines.
- Represented a pump manufacturer in patent infringement litigation to enforce patents on metering pumps.
- Defended a major telecommunications client in patent litigation resulting in summary judgment that the patent was invalid and unenforceable.
- Litigated several cases arising under the Architectural Work Copyright Protection Act (AWCPA.)
- Represented clients in trademark and copyright disputes both before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and in various federal district courts.
- Handled appeals before the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
