Jeffrey D. Sternklar has over 30 years of experience representing clients in business workouts, both out of court restructurings and chapter 11 bankruptcies. He represents purchasers of assets from bankruptcy estates, plan funders and proponents, secured creditors, unsecured creditors, unsecured creditor committees, trustees, debtors and other parties in interest (including acquirers of distressed debt, equipment and real estate lessors, holders of intellectual property licensed to debtors, defendants in avoidance actions, equity holders, DIP lenders).
Mr. Sternklar is a member of the American and Boston bar associations, the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Commercial Law League of America. He is certified as a Business Bankruptcy Specialist by the American Board of Certification. Admitted to practice in Massachusetts, New York, North Carolina and Texas, he is a 1983 graduate of Duke University School of Law and a graduate of the State University of New York at Binghamton.
