Jennifer C. Escalante has a wide-ranging transactional practice, which includes representing clients with respect to corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and acquisition and disposition of real estate, as well as representing clients on insurance regulatory and transactional matters.
A member of the American, Illinois State and Chicago bar associations, Ms. Escalante is a 2003 graduate of the University of Chicago Law School and a graduate, with high honors, of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

- Represented Illinois banking association in financing of $110,000,000 construction project.
- Represented national banking association in $170,000 financing for a health care company.
- Represented major real estate investment company in the sale of $280,000,000 commercial building.
- Represented company in $6.2 billion sale of REIT.
- Represented major insurance company financing $45,000,000 real estate acquisition.
- Represented tenant in common investment company in purchase of over $50,000,000 real estate acquisition.
- Represented a large P&C insurance company with respect to compliance matters, including advice regarding the regulation of financial guaranty products, arising out of the implementation of an "excess deposit" commercial surety bond product.
- Represented large Fortune 500 and FTSE 100 corporations in negotiating commutations, novations, loss portfolio transfers, policy buy-backs and other disengagement transactions with financially troubled insurers, excess insurers and reinsurers.
- Represented a large P&C insurance company with respect to the implementation and negotiation of a withdrawal from commercial surety lines writings, including advice specific to guardianship, probate, and conservator bond obligations.
- Represented a wireless communications service provider in the strategic development, negotiation and implementation of a wireless equipment service program.
- Represented a software vendor in the strategic development, negotiation and implementation of a computerized database providing valuations for total loss vehicle claims.
