Mark J. Marcelli practices in the area of intellectual property law. Mr Marcelli focuses his practice on patent prosecution, analysis, validity and infringement, and trademark registration and prosecution. Mr. Marcelli has prepared and prosecuted patent applications both domestically and internationally in the electrical, semiconductor, chemical, materials and optoelectronic arts. He advises clients in all aspects of intellectual property law.
Mr. Marcelli's engineering and technology experience includes 15 years as an engineer in the electronics/semiconductor industry. He is admitted to practice in California and registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Italian American Lawyers Association and the Intellectual Property Section of the State Bar Association of California.
Mr. Marcelli is a 1991 graduate of the University of San Diego School of Law and a 1981 graduate of Rutgers University College of Engineering (B.S., chemical engineering with honors).
