Mark K. Kessler is of counsel to the firm and practices in the areas of corporate law, securities and investment companies. Mr. Kessler also currently serves as Vice President and Senior Counsel to Toll Brothers, Inc., a national homebuilder, having served as its outside counsel since formation and, in recent years, at its General Counsel.
Mr. Kessler’s areas of practice include public and private financing; corporate governance; investment companies; and mergers and acquisitions. He has been cited in The Best Lawyers in America, the Top 100 Lawyers of Pennsylvania and Chambers USA. He has been named by the National Law Journal as a leading figure in the national securities bar, and has been a frequent lecturer and author of articles on corporate and securities law and legal ethics.
Mr. Kessler is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Law School and Brown University. After military service, he clerked for a Justice of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and served as an Assistant to a Commissioner of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
