Nicholas O. Isaacson has a wide-ranging practice representing public companies, private companies, venture capital firms and major national lending institutions. He has handled matters for clients ranging from small early round equity investments to multibillion-dollar mergers and acquisitions; from disengagement transactions with insolvent insurers to near-billion-dollar secured financing transactions involving multiple international borrowers; from acquisitions of middle-market companies to private placements of high-yield debt and the exchange of publicly registered bonds for those private bonds; from the formation of venture funds to restructurings in and out of bankruptcy. Drawing on his eclectic background, clients have found Mr. Isaacson to be a valuable resource and counselor.
Mr. Isaacson is a graduate of Columbia Law School (Stone Scholar), Harvard University (magna cum laude, John Harvard Scholar) and the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business (double concentration in finance and econometrics and statistics).
