Patrick S. Salceda practices in the area of intellectual property litigation. Mr. Salceda has significant experience in the initial phases of litigation, including major document organization and review, motion practice, discovery and depositions, evaluation of cases with experts, trial work-up and damages analyses. He has experience representing high-tech clients in the prosecution and defense of complex intellectual property, unfair competition and business practices disputes.

• Achieved dismissal with prejudice of complaint brought against developer of BIOS operating software based on claim of strict products liability.
• Member of litigation team which successfully opposed motion for partial summary judgment on breach of technology contract resulting in settlement on favorable terms for client.
• Obtained dismissal of unclean hands claim in litigation between rival analog semiconductor companies.
• Achieved summary adjudication of non-importation in ITC proceedings on behalf of client, a manufacturer of computer and television peripherals.
