Charles E. Harrell is the managing partner of Duane Morris' Houston office. Mr. Harrell practices in the area of corporate law with a focus on corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and capital markets. He also has advised many clients in connection with structured finance and project finance matters. Mr. Harrell represents a number of Fortune 100 companies as well as middle-market companies, startups, joint ventures and partnerships. He regularly handles offerings of debt and equity securities and advises clients with respect to reporting and disclosure issues and corporate governance.

Mr. Harrell is Vice President and serves on the board of directors of the Houston Chapter of the National Association of Corporate Directors. He also serves on the board of directors of the Houston-based nonprofit Target Hunger. A certified public accountant, Mr. Harrell is a member of the American Bar Association's Section of Corporation, Banking and Business Law, the State Bar of Texas, the Houston Bar Association and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Harrell is listed in Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business, 2006 and 2007 editions, and was named a Texas Super Lawyer for 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006.

Mr. Harrell is a 1981 graduate of St. Mary's University of San Antonio School of Law and a graduate of the University of Texas.
