Sarah M. Bricknell is a partner in and Assistant General Counsel to Duane Morris LLP. She practices in the areas of professional and business ethics and professional liability litigation. Ms. Bricknell is also a member of Duane Morris' Recruitment and Retention Committee.
Ms. Bricknell is a member and former chair of the Professional Guidance Committee of the Philadelphia Bar Association, which advises Bar Association members on the propriety of actions proposed to be taken by bar members in professional matters or transactions, or the course to be pursued in controversies with other members of the bar or with clients. The Professional Guidance Committee also has authority to give advice concerning the interpretation, application and observance of the Rules of Professional Conduct and the Code of Judicial Conduct.
Ms. Bricknell also is a member of the Section of Litigation of the American Bar Association, the Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers and the Pennsylvania Bar Association's Commission on Women in the Profession and regularly presents programs to practitioners on legal ethics issues.
Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and California, Ms. Bricknell is a 1991 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Law School and a graduate of Franklin & Marshall College.
