Stanley A. Barg practices in the areas of international tax law and estate planning. Mr. Barg advises clients throughout the world in matters pertaining to U.S. income, estate and gift taxation, the establishment and maintenance of international trusts, the use of life insurance and the structure of investments in the United States by non-U.S. persons and other related matters.
Mr. Barg is currently editor of the U.S. Journal for the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and a Vice Chairman of the New York Chapter. He is a member of the ABA's Taxation and Real Property, Probate and Trust Law sections, the International Bar Association, the International Tax Planning Association and the Tax and Probate and Trust Law sections of the Philadelphia Bar Association.
Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New York and the District of Columbia, Mr. Barg is a frequent speaker and author. He is a 1975 graduate of New York University School of Law (LL.M., taxation) and a 1974 graduate of the George Washington University National Law Center.
