She was named one of the "Women Leaders" in the Legal Intelligencer and Pennsylvania Law Weekly special supplement, "Women in the Profession," 2004.   

As past chairperson of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania Bankruptcy Conference, Ms. Reed led an organization of approximately 350 bankruptcy attorneys. Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, she is a member of the American Bar Association (chairperson of the ABA's Business Bankruptcy - Business Transactions Subcommittee) as well as the Pennsylvania and Philadelphia bar associations. Ms. Reed is a 1982 graduate of Villanova University School of Law and a graduate of Vassar College.
