Mr. Mack regularly advises parties across a wide range of industry sectors regarding the myriad of antitrust issues that arise in the business world. His experience in the area of antitrust law includes representing and counseling hospitals and healthcare providers regarding mergers, joint ventures and acquisitions. He also regularly provides advice to manufacturers, suppliers, distributors and service providers on distribution issues, pricing issues and regarding the antitrust aspects of joint ventures, competitor collaboration and transactions. He also frequently counsels companies and trade associations regarding antitrust compliance.

Mr. Mack represents clients in federal court and before government agencies, including the Federal Trade Commission, on issues involving trade regulation, predatory pricing, price-fixing, monopolization, unfair competition claims, mergers and acquisitions, and consumer protection. He also has participated in major litigation involving the Sherman Act, the Clayton Act and the Robinson-Patman Act.

Mr. Mack is identified as one of the leading antitrust lawyers in Pennsylvania in Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business.The Guide states that clients were impressed by his "presence in the courtroom" and his "thorough due diligence and his opinions" on antitrust law. Mr. Mack also is recognized as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer in the antitrust field and was named by Nightingale's Healthcare News as one of the top 10 outstanding healthcare antitrust lawyers in the United States in 2008.

Mr. Mack's experience in the area of franchise and distribution law includes prosecuting and defending against commercial contract, business tort claims, including dealer/distributor termination, tortious interference with contract, unfair trade practices, copyright and trademark violations, breach of contract and breach of the implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing.

Mr. Mack regularly represents public and closely held businesses, partnerships, partners, officers, directors and shareholders in complex commercial litigation and class action litigation, including cases involving securities law claims, fraud, contractual disputes, trade secrets, management and corporate control issues, mergers and acquisitions, shareholder appraisal rights and financial transactions. He also represents and counsels clients regarding defamation and libel claims and has handled constitutional cases involving the First Amendment right to free speech, including cases before the United States Supreme Court and the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.

Mr. Mack has successfully represented clients and tried high profile, multimillion-dollar commercial cases to verdict around the country. He has appeared on national television discussing legal issues and has been featured on the cover of The National Law Journal. In addition, cases that he has handled have been the subject of articles in the Wall Street Journal, USAToday, The Washington Post, Business Week, Financial Times, Barron's, Franchise Times and The American Lawyer.

Mr. Mack is a member of the Antitrust Law Section, the Forum Committee on Franchising, and the Committee on Business and Corporate Litigation of the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association. He is also a member of the Civil Litigation Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Philadelphia Bar Association and the American Health Lawyers Association. Mr. Mack is a 1986 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Law School and a graduate of Temple University.
