He has been a member of the Ben Franklin Applied R&D Advisory Committee and is a former president of the Entrepreneurs' Forum of Greater Philadelphia, Inc. He is a former member of the Ben Franklin Technology Center and founder of the Ben Franklin Emerging Business Awards.

He is a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association, the Philadelphia and New Jersey Patent Law associations, Intellectual Property Owners, Inc., and the American, Pennsylvania, New Jersey State and Camden County bar associations.

Mr. Cronk is a 1986 graduate of Seton Hall University School of Law and a magna cum laude graduate of Lehigh University (B.S., materials engineering).
