She is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association and the Health Law Section of the New York State Bar Association. A former adjunct professor of law at Pace University School of Law, Ms. Kayser attended St. John's University School of Law and is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. She was recognized as a New York City SuperLawyer by Law and Politics in 2006 through 2009.
