Prior to entering law, he served on the faculty of the Wake Forest University School of Medicine.

Dr. Bennett-Paris is a 1999 graduate of the University of North Carolina School of Law and a graduate of Loyola University Chicago (Ph.D., Pharmacology) and the University of Southern California (B.S., Biological Sciences).
