He is also the drafter of New York Lien Law Section 44-b, dealing with necessary parties to a public improvement mechanic's lien foreclosure action.

Mr. Markowitz is a 2001 graduate of Brooklyn Law School and a graduate of the State University of New York at Oneonta.
