W. Andrew Miller practices in the area of litigation. Mr. Miller has participated in the defense of some of the largest environmental insurance coverage cases ever tried in California. In addition to his insurance experience, Mr. Miller has broad civil litigation experience, at both the trial and appellate levels, embracing areas that include: arbitration of international construction disputes; consumer fraud; consumer class action prosecution; product liability; ski area defense; and intellectual property litigation, including a two-month arbitration of a dispute arising out of an international trademark licensing, manufacturing and distribution agreement.

In addition to his other professional activities, Mr. Miller volunteers as an attorney with the AIDS Legal Referral Panel, has served as a judge pro tempore in San Francisco Superior Court, and is both an active member of and Regional Legal Advisor to the National Ski Patrol.

A member of the Bar Association of San Francisco, Mr. Miller is a 1982 cum laude graduate of Harvard Law School and a summa cum laude graduate of Connecticut College, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Mr. Miller also attended The Juilliard School as a scholarship student in its Dance Division, and danced professionally for a number of years before entering the practice of law.
