Partner Max H. Stern will be speaking at two seminars titled "Ethics Training For the Insurance Professional," being held in Universal City on May 16 and San Francisco on May 17, 2006. Both seminars will begin at 8 a.m. and will last until noon. A continental breakfast will be provided prior to the seminar.
Seminar Overview
"Insurance Ethics": not an oxymoron! The insurance business is based on the doctrine of "good faith", and this 4-hour program is designed to assist insurance professionals in understanding their ethical responsibilities in areas including underwriting, broking, and claims practices. What duties are owed and to whom are they owed? Solutions to ethical dilemmas are not always clear-cut or easy, and through presentations and case studies, this excellent panel will discuss the complexities of ethical decision-making within the context of insurance transactions.
