Frederick R. Ball, a partner in the Chicago office, will speak at the upcoming FDLI Conference Introduction to Drug Law and Regulation Workshop: Understanding How the Government Regulates the Drug Industry on January 18-19 at the Washington Court Hotel in Washington, D.C.
This two-day workshop will focus on the fundamental laws and regulations that affect the drug industry. From the definition of "drug" to the different regulatory schemes for over-the-counter and prescription drugs, the conference will cover major statutory provisions and regulations, a broad overview of the FDA, the history of drug regulation, and details on specific areas of drug regulation.
