About the Symposium
If you are a foreign medical graduate currently in J-1 or H-1B status participating in your residency or fellowship program, this symposium will provide you with valuable information regarding your options.
Roberta Freedman and Michelle Funk, experienced Duane Morris attorneys in our national Immigration Practice Group, will share information about J-1 eligible positions and additional support material that you may find helpful. Our presentation topics include:
- How to navigate the process of obtaining a J-1 waiver position
- Available J-1 waiver programs and processing time
- Alternative visa options
- Permanent residence process
Additionally, the following speakers will be joining us:
- Don Buecker, Buecker Enterprises, Inc., to provide advice on locating J-1 waiver job opportunities
