Duane Morris partners Steven M. Richman and A. Bruce Bowden will speak at the American Bar Association's Section of Interntionall Law's South American Regional Conference. The conference will take place on March 13-14 at the Hotel Emperador in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Program Overview
The program objectives include (i) building on prior efforts to enhance ABA exposure and recognition in the region; (ii) increasing ABA membership in South America; and (iii) demonstrating the continent's future relevance in geopolitical, economic and legal terms. Program topics will relate to issues of interest for lawyers, judges, students and academics living in or working with South America.Steven Richman will co-moderate the panel titled "Intellectual Property Enforcement in Latin America: Battles Here and There," which explores current developments and issues relating to enforcement and protection of intellectual property rights in Latin America, from both the litigation and corporate perspectives.
