Panel Description
Theoretically, non-compete agreements may be used for three different purposes: non-compete (prohibit employment by competitors); nonsolicitation (prohibit solicitation of former employers or customers); or non-disclosure (prohibit disclosure of proprietary information). In real life, state law and practical considerations may trump bullet-proof non-compete clauses. This session will cover practical drafting considerations and successful negotiating strategies.Timothy W. Moppin practices in the areas of environmental law and litigation, commercial/business litigation, employment law and litigation and construction defects litigation.
