About the Meeting
The Annual Meeting's theme is "Don't Tell Me What I Should Have Done, What Do I Do Now? Confronting the Unexpected." The program addresses advanced strategies for dealing with often unanticipated problems arising during the construction process and beyond. Experienced and knowledgeable speakers from across the country will discuss practical tips and mechanisms, drawn from personal experience, for dealing with a variety of challenges that may arise during the construction process. Attendees will receive materials to help them provide timely and informed counsel and to prepare quick and confident responses to meet clients' needs.
About the Plenary Session
Through demonstrative presentations, this session will explore strategies for utilizing and responding to temporary injunctive relief and restraints, and will examine fast-track discovery schedules, ediscovery requirements and other proceedings to protect against site, document and e-document spoliation, maintain the status quo or get relief from an injunction, and provide for expedited discovery and hearings when time is of the essence. Case studies will be taken from contract award challenges and other common construction scenarios.
