The Duane Morris Women's Initiative will sponsor a breakfast CLE program, Bridging the Communication Gap: Improving the In-House and Outside Counsel Relationship, to be held on Thursday, June 5, 2008, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Duane Morris' Philadelphia office, 30 South 17th Street, 12th Floor.
About the Program
A panel of leading lawyers with experience in companies, law firms and government entities will explore the dynamics of the relationship between in-house lawyers and their outside counsel.
We will discuss strategies for building a better work experience, current business challenges facing general counsel and tips for nurturing a successful career.
Accredited for 1.5 hours of CLE credit and ethics credits. Breakfast will be served.
Speakers
Duane Morris partner Sheila Slocum Hollis practices in the areas of energy transactional and regulatory law, and international and administrative law before government agencies, Congress and other entities. Sheila is chair of Duane Morris' Washington, D.C. office and serves on the firm's Executive Committee and Partners Board.Linda L. Randell is senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary of UIL Holdings Corporation and its regulated utility subsidiary, The United Illuminating Company. Ms. Randell has extensive experience in the regulatory and administrative process, particularly energy, facilities siting, electric industry, water industry and regulatory compliance matters.
Ann Elizabeth White is counsel for Noble Energy, Inc. in Houston, Texas. She has more than 30 years of energy industry experience, 20 of which have been as in-house counsel for several energy companies.
