The American Technion Society will present a breakfast briefing on the topic of "Securing Israel Today, Transforming Israel and the World Tomorrow" on Thursday, July 31, 2008, from 8 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. at Duane Morris' New York office, located at 1540 Broadway.
Duane Morris partners Michael D. Grohman and Peter V. K. Funk, Jr. will be hosting this morning program, where Professor Gideon Grader of the Technion Faculty of Chemical Engineering will deliver a presentation on the following:
- Energy generation via solar cells and wind power,
- Energy storage and conversion in advanced batteries and fuel cells,
- Alternative fuel generation, including bio-mass, hydrogen and non-carbon based fuels, and
- Energy savings measures such as advanced combustion and efficient buildings.
