The Duane Morris Women's Initiative will be presenting a seminar, A Pragmatic Approach to the Attorney-Client Privilege and Related Ethics Issues for In-House Counsel, to be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2008, at 103 West in Atlanta, Georgia.
This program, presented by the Duane Morris Women's Initiative, will explore a pragmatic approach to various issues surrounding the attorney-client privilege, including ongoing challenges; application of attorney-client work-product doctrine to in-house lawyers; how in-house counsel should deal with government investigations; when in-house counsel should agree to waivers; and handling conflicts related to affiliates. The following Duane Morris women attorneys will be speaking at this event:
Sarah M. Bricknell practices in the areas of professional and business ethics and professional liability, and serves as the firm's assistant general counsel.
Rebecca M. Lamberth practices in the area of securities and complex commercial litigation. A significant portion of her practice is dedicated to advising and representing lawyers facing potential liability.
