The mounting stress in the capital markets and the corresponding proliferation of new filings under chapter 11 and chapter 15 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code have raised urgent questions for those involved in sophisticated asset structures. Join Duane Morris attorneys and guests for a 90-minute interactive panel discussing recent trends affecting distressed assets, loan workouts, cross-border insolvencies and bankruptcy case outcomes, as well as a full discussion of the classic chapter 11 asset sale and liquidating plan model as it has been playing out in the principal national jurisdictions and, in particular, in the Second (New York), Third (Delaware) and Seventh (Chicago) Circuits.
