Duane Morris Partner Sheila Hollis to Be Panel Chair at Commercial Bar Association North American Meeting 2009

Duane Morris partner Sheila Slocum Hollis will chair a panel at the Commercial Bar Association (COMBAR) North American Meeting 2009, to be held on May 29-30, 2009, in Chicago, Illinois. The theme of this year's meeting is "Legal Issues Arising Out of the Global Financial Crisis." Ms. Hollis will serve as panel chair on the topic of "What Went Wrong with Regulation? Underlying Causes and Lessons to Be Learned" on May 29 at 11:25 a.m.
About the COMBAR North American Meeting 2009
In addition to the traditional moot (which will focus on the nature of credit default swaps) there will be panel sessions with papers and debate, on the following general topics:
- "Accidents waiting to happen? The instruments and transactions at the heart of the financial crisis"
- "What went wrong with regulation? Underlying causes, and lessons to be learned"
- "Who is in the firing line? Potential defendants, potential claims, and potential pitfalls"
- "Does the law have a role, and if so what, in sorting out the mess?"
