Duane Morris partner Sheila Slocum Hollis will be speaking at The Canadian Institute's Gearing Up for a Low Carbon Economy: Mitigating Risks and Maximizing Opportunities Conference, to be held on October 6-7, 2009, in Calgary, Alberta. Ms. Hollis will discuss "Examining the Latest Developments in Carbon Legislation in the U.S." on October 6 at 9:15 a.m. During her presentation, she will address the following:

  • Identifying the latest developments in U.S. carbon legislation
  • Forecast on a timeline for action
  • Exploring which developments would be felt by industry in Canada
  • What are the views on importing Canadian oil sands output?
