Duane Morris Partner Sharon Caffrey to Speak at Perrin's Asbestos Litigation Conference

Duane Morris partner Sharon L. Caffrey will be speaking at Perrin's Asbestos Litigation Conference: A Comprehensive National Overview and Outlook, to be held on September 14-16, 2009, in San Francisco, California. Ms. Caffrey will participate in two sessions on Tuesday, September 15: the "Women in Business Breakfast Roundtable" at 7:30 a.m., followed by a discussion on the topic of "Understanding Evidentiary Standards: Daubert/Frye Update" at 8:45 a.m. In this session, the following issues will be explored:
- Knowing the standard that applies to your jurisdiction
- Daubert and Frye challenges: Who is winning the evidentiary and jurisdictional battles?
- New theories under Daubert and Frye
- Overview and analysis of recent Daubert and Frye decisions
