Duane Morris partners Eduardo Ramos-Gómez, Oliver Massmann and William H. Schrag will be speaking at the New York State Bar Association's International Section Fall Meeting, to be held on October 26-29, 2009, in Singapore. The focus of the meeting is "New York and New Asia: A Partnership for the 21st Century." Duane Morris is a bronze sponsor of this event, Mr. Ramos-Gómez is program chair, and Mr. Schrag is on the New York Steering Committee.
About the Speakers
Mr. Ramos-Gómez will be chairing the panel on "Sovereign Wealth Funds" on October 27, from 4:20 p.m. to 5:10 p.m. He will also be co-chairing a plenary session discussion on "Corporate Social Responsibility: Regulation and Governance" on October 28, from 2:30 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. and serving as a panelist on the topic of "Managing a Law Firm in the Current Economic Environment" on October 29, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Mr. Massmann will participate in a panel discussion on the topic of "Investing in Asia" on October 29, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Mr. Schrag will co-chair a panel discussion on "Insolvency" on October 28, from 10 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.
