Duane Morris partner Sheila Slocum Hollis will be speaking at the Association of Women in Water, Energy and Environment's First Annual Conference, to be held on October 21-22, 2009, in San Diego, California. Ms. Hollis will participate in a plenary session on the topic of "The State of Climate Action," which begins at 10 a.m. and concludes at 12 p.m.
Some of the issues to be explored at the conference include:

- Renewable energy challenges
- Our electricity future: smart meters and smart grid
- The role of energy and water efficiency in climate action
- Strategies for professional advancement
About the Association of Women in Water, Energy and Environment
The Association of Women in Water, Energy and Environment is a 501(c)(3) organization that has been formed to advance the education of women in the fields of energy, water and the environment and to provide educational forums through which women in these fields can learn, share and increase their knowledge of issues in these sectors.
