Duane Morris partner Sandra A. Jeskie will be a faculty member at a Pennsylvania Bar Institute seminar on the topic of "Privacy and Data Security—2009 and Beyond," to be held on the following dates, times and locations: Friday, November 13, 2009, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., in Reading, Pennsylvania; Tuesday, November 24, 2009, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., in Erie, Pennsylvania; and Wednesday, December 30, 2009, from 9 a.m. to 1:15 p.m., in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Participants will hear of the staggering changes that have occurred in the worlds of corporate and consumer privacy. The changes impact broad areas of practice from government enforcement issues to corporate liability for failure to protect information. New data security systems and privacy protection laws are changing the landscape for clients and corporations with masses of data and human resources information. Learn the latest techniques to avoid the legal issues that are arising from breaches in data security and privacy matters.
