Duane Morris Partner Jonathan Armstrong to Co-Chair Panel at the New York State Bar Association Meeting of the International Section

Duane Morris partner Jonathan P. Armstrong will be co-chairing a panel discussion during the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA) Annual Meeting of the International Section, to be held on Wednesday, January 27, 2010, in New York City. Mr. Armstrong will serve as co-chair of the International Section panel discussion on the topic of "Discovery v. Privacy in International Arbitration" at 11:35 a.m.
This panel discussion wil focus on the differences in law, culture and expectations between U.S. principles of discovery in arbitration and litigation contrasted with greater privacy and data protection restrictions in Europe and other civil law jurisdictions prohibiting such disclosure of personal information. Panelists include experienced practitioners and in-hours counsel who have dealt with such issues in multinational operations.
