| Silverado Resort
Duane Morris partner Phillip Wang will be a panelist at the State Bar of California Real Property Law Section's 29th Annual Retreat, to be held from April 30 to May 2, 2010, in Napa, California. Mr. Wang will participate in a discussion on the topic of "The Rise After the Fall in the CMBS World: Restructuring Securitized Debt" on May 2 at 10:15 a.m.
Commercial real estate and the CMBS market have collapsed. Tranche warfare has broken out in the capital stack. The panel will discuss CMBS loan defaults, how a lender or servicer approaches a troubled loan, limitations on a lender or servicer's ability to provide relief, and strategies for workouts and dispositions from the perspectives of the borrower and the service.
This retreat offers an opportunity for attendees to network and share ideas with real estate professionals from around the state.
