Duane Morris LLP will sponsor "Promising Treands in Alzheimer's Treatment," a GABA and FACCSF Life Science Committees event to be held on Thursday, March 10, 2011, at Duane Morris LLP's San Francisco office. The panel will include William F. Goure, Ph.D., president and chief executive officer, Acumen Pharmaceuticals, Inc.; Dale Bredesen, professor and founding president, Buck Institute; and James Treanor, director of neuroscience, Amgen. Ulrike Ruppelt, principal, Ticular-Strategies for Success, and Edda Kargel Mihaescu, Ph.D., P.E., principal engineer, Bayer HealthCare, will moderate the panel discussion. Duane Morris Special Counsel Siegfried J.W. Ruppert, Ph.D., will be the event emcee on behalf of the German American Business Association, and will be on hand to moderate.
There will be a networking reception from 6 to 7 p.m., the program will take place from 7 to 8:30 p.m., and there will be further opportunity for networking from 8:30 to 9 p.m. Complimentary appetizers, beer, wine and soft drinks will be served.
