Duane Morris partners Sheila Slocum Hollis and Seth v.d.H. Cooley will be presenting at Insight Information's 10th Annual Gas Shales Summit, to be held on June 7–8, 2011, in Fort Worth, Texas.
Ms. Hollis will serve as program chair for the summit and will deliver "Opening Remarks from the Chair" on Tuesday, June 7, at 9:05 a.m. and on Wednesday, June 8, at 9 a.m. She will also speak on the topic, "Balancing Market Demand and Environmental Risks: State of Play," on June 8 at 10:15 a.m. She will provide insights on evolving GHG emission policies and their impact on gas shales and best practices in corporate response to climate change.
Mr. Cooley will discuss "Current Operating Regulations and Future Trends" on June 7 at 3 p.m. He will explore the scope of federal regulation of gas shale development under the Clean Air Act, Superfund, Clean Water Act, Safe Drinking Water Act, and Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, including federal regulation of hydraulic fracturing and aggregation of emission sources.
About the Summit
The 10th Annual Gas Shales Summit will provide industry, government and environmental groups from across the nation a forum for a healthy and open exchange of facts and opinions on issues surrounding the development of gas shales.
