Duane Morris Partner Sharon Caffrey to Present at SEAK, Inc.'s 20th Anniversary National Expert Witness Conference

Duane Morris partner Sharon L. Caffrey will be speaking at SEAK, Inc.'s 20th Anniversary National Expert Witness Conference, to be held on April 14-15, 2011, in Naples, Florida. Ms. Caffrey will present on the topic, "The Practical Impact of the 2010 Rule 26 Amendments on Expert Witnessing," on Friday, April 15, at 2:30 p.m.
Ms. Caffrey will explain the new Rule 26 amendments dealing with the discoverability of draft reports and expert-attorney communications. She will emphasize their practical impact on expert witnesses and how these amendments will change what experts do and how experts do it. She will discuss which cases the amendments apply to, the applicability and influence of the amendments in state courts, exceptions to the amendments, and the significance of these exceptions to expert witnesses.
