About the Program
Water supplies are increasingly vital for energy production in California. At the same time, there is an increasing demand for energy use for water distribution and processes. In this seminar, regional policy leaders, water and energy law attorneys and consultants will look at the nexus between water and energy, including institutional and regulatory structures and water for solar projects and thermal plants. They will identify energy resources for pushing water through pipes and will relate experiences with water district leaders and counsel. A contract "workshop" will work though water and energy issues to provide relevant strategies for you and your clients. This conference provides valuable updates on today's water and energy regulation and use for professionals new to the energy industry as well as seasoned professionals in these fields.
